I wanted to experience staying at a working organic farm. Google search brought me to this farm. After reviewing photos, writeup and rave reviews, we decided to stay here for 3 nights before we join the Gate-1 Travel tour for 16 days in Nepal and Bhutan.
They arranged a 4×4 Jeep for us to be picked up at the airport. Initially we experienced Kathmandu traffic, and soon after mountainous, winding and rough roads. It took us 2 hrs and 15 minutes to get to the farm (31 km). The route went through one of the largest national forests, Shivpuri National Park. The mountains here supply fresh water for Kathmandu (Bagmati River).
Shivpuri National Park is home to various wildlife, including Himalayan black bears, leopards, and over 300 bird species. Its dense forests, primarily consisting of pine, oak, and rhododendron trees, provide an ideal habitat for these species.
After we arrived here, it is like a Heaven on Earth.
Here is a Map with the location.

The bar
It is on top of a hill, 2000 meters, 6,600 ft. The farming and cottages are at various step levels (a series of flat, steplike platforms on mountain slopes), see valley at the bottom and Himalayan mountain ranges in the North. Mount Everest is 100 km northeast.
At sunrise, a white mist descends on the valley below, and as the peaks emerge with the sun from the darkness, they appear to be floating above a sea of cloud, providing one of the most unforgettable views.
Here are photos taken during sunrise.
See sun rays shining on top of snow-covered Himalayan ranges
Night view on a full moon, with clear valley; A Stairway to Heaven
As the daylight broadens the views expand to encompass the surrounding environment of lush greenery, forests, scattered villages and the terraced paddy fields of the foothills.
