Guest Relations Officer

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Guest Relations Officer (GRO) to join our team and ensure our guests have an unforgettable experience. The GRO will be responsible for welcoming guests, addressing their needs, and ensuring that every aspect of their stay exceeds expectations. You will act as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel cared for and that any concerns are promptly resolved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
• Act as the main point of contact for guests, anticipating their needs and providing personalized service.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns throughout their stay, resolving any issues promptly and effectively.
• Coordinate with various departments (housekeeping, kitchen, activities, etc.) to meet guests’ needs and ensure seamless service.
• Assist with organizing special guest requests, tours, and activities, including organic farm tours and local experiences.
• Handle guest complaints or feedback with sensitivity, providing swift resolutions to ensure satisfaction.
• Build rapport with regular guests and VIPs to encourage loyalty and repeat visits.
• Conduct follow-ups to ensure guests are satisfied with their stay and collect feedback for improvement.
• Support the front desk team with check-ins and check-outs when necessary.
• Stay updated on resort offerings, local attractions, and events to recommend to guests.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a resort or hotel.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Nepali; additional languages are an advantage.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a positive, problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with diplomacy.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding guest service and going the extra mile.
• Knowledge of local culture, traditions, and attractions is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
